I've always had a love-hate relationship with my hair. I do battle with it on a daily basis when heat styling, then every couple of months I blitz it with bleach (I'm a sucker for beachy blonde highlights). Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, I get hair extensions.

The only reason I believe my hair hasn't given up at this point, is because I smother it an excessive amount of products. Yup, I've tried every oil, spray, mask, cream and conditioner out there, in the hopes that they'll soothe my stressed out lengths.

A couple of years ago, I found the one. And when I say 'the one', I mean a hair brand that changed my life for the better. Enter, Pureology. Not a new brand by any means, the sulphate-free, vegan formulas have been around for years, and are a common fixture in many hair salons across the UK. Whilst they cater to most hair types, for me, it's the Hydrate range that ticks every box. As someone with fine hair that's prone to oily roots and incredibly dry ends, its been a constant battle to find a formula that nourishes and softens my ends, without leaving my roots weighed down with heavy oils. The Hydrate shampoo and conditioner do just that.

Here's some photographic evidence of my love for the blonde hair dye/extensions:

It's hard to explain exactly how and why this shampoo and conditioner are so good. I could reel off the fact that they are packed with nourishing ingredients - all of which will transform your brittle hair back to it's former glory. They also contain a multi-weight of proteins that help to strengthen breakage-prone strands, AND finally, the added peppermint cleanses excess oils from the scalp, leaving hair fresh and oh-so clean.

But honestly, the proof is in pudding. If you try them once, I can safely say you'll join the Pureology fandom. (Side note: So far, I've converted my mum, sister, three of my friends and a Cosmo colleague to the gang.)

The best bit of all this? Whilst Pureology hair products aren't exactly cheap, right now they're up to 35% off in the FeelUnique and LookFantastic Black Friday sale. Time to stock up people, trust me, you won't regret it.

Here's a few of my other faves...
