You need to see Kim Kardashian's beauty evolution from 2007 to 2020

When I tell you this picture transports me back in time, I'm telling you this picture takes me back to my fake pink Juicy Couture velour tracksuit.

I can literally remember the moment Kim walked out on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet with her new honey blonde hue and it has remained one of my favourite looks ever since.

Because I am a Kim Kardashian/Mario Dedivanovic mega fan and store all this pointless trivia, I know that Mario doesn't like applying false lashes on Kim.

One look at this picture from 2010 tells me why, she just doesn't need them when her natural lashes are so long anyway.

Is it just me or does 2011 Kim look a hell of a lot like 2015 Michelle Keegan on her wedding day? Just saying.

Kim doesn't wear her hair up a whole lot these days (unless it's her signature slicked back bun) and I can't help but feel that she looks older in this picture than she does now.

2012 is when Kim and Kanye started dating and it also marks the start of Kim's style revolution.

This look was a step up in terms of the glam looks we'd seen on her before and elevated Kim to a whole new level. Side note, we wish she would wear a red lip more often.

After giving birth to North, Kim went blonde again and also experimented with a darker berry lip colour, which we rarely see her in.

This marks the start of Kim moving away from wearing a smokey eye 24/7 and also going for a more luminous base, as opposed to matte.

Without sounding like a massive creep, how beautiful does Kim look here.

I love that as she's got older she has embraced her natural beauty more and more and this 2014 look is the start of that.

2015 aka the Draco Malfoy year. In hindsight it wasn't Kim's best blonde, but that still didn't stop her from breaking the Internet when she emerged with a scalp full of bleach.

Side note, no one (I repeat no one) does the wet look as well as Kim.

We know that 2016 Paris fashion week isn't one that Kim will want to remember after her traumatic robbery, but I will always remember this iconic moment.

The queen of glam arrived without a stitch of makeup on and looked stunning. A full circle moment from when she started embracing a more natural glam two years prior.

The good blonde. So, I might have been a bit savage about 2015 blonde Kim, but 2017 blonde Kim hit all the marks.

The icy tone, the wet look, that warm brown smokey eye, obsessed, obsessed, obsessed.

One of our favourite Met Gala looks to date (her Thierry Mugler wet look reigns supreme).

Of course Mario is responsible for this frankly hypnotic smoky eye, which paired with that skin and that nude lip is literally breath-taking.

When I grow up I want to be like Kim because a) I want to have a really organised fridge and b) I want to get better with age.

38-year-old Kim seems so much happier in her own skin than that awkward 2007 red carpet photo. I love that she still has her signature glam, but just a little softer.

Ahhh the return of the wet look and the return of that hypnotic eyeliner.

It's been 13 years and Kim has gone from just another reality TV star to a fashion and cultural icon.

I can't even fathom a time when we won't be turning up to our makeup artist/hair stylist appointment without a screenshot of Kim on our phone. We are most definitely not worthy.
