Makeup-free celebrities are nothing new – though, every time one reveals their natural complexion, you best believe we're all for it! Makeup-free Royals, however, well, that's a different story, and today, Meghan Markle is setting a new standard by going completely barefaced online. Not a lick of mascara in sight!

Earlier this week [April 28, 2025], Meghan made her podcast interview debut on Jamie Kern Lima's YouTube channel. For the occasion, she not only bared her soul, but her skin, too, wearing zero makeup, which, in turn, revealed her gorgeous freckled complexion.

The reason behind Meg's makeup-free decision was revealed by Jamie in a recent Instagram post. "[...] she and I decided to do the episode the same way we spend most of our time together – with no makeup on, in our sweats, and cozied up in these two rocking chairs I have at my house," Jamie wrote.

You could say they're in their au naturel habitat.

In the interview, Meghan mentions her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and reads out a letter from them both. "From Archie and Lili via Papa. We love your cooking. We love your pancakes and we love, love, love your hugs. You're the best mummy and we love you," she says.

Weeping? Yeah, us, too! Oh, and Meghan, who said, "This is why it’s so nice to not have makeup on."

And that is exactly why I always come prepared with waterproof mascara, folks. Shop my faves, here. (Meg, get on it!)
