Early 10s? Early Teenies? Nothing feels right when trying to name the decade that stretches from the 00's to now, and as I'm about to talk about roughly 2009-2012, we're just gunna call it the late noughties. Fight me. Or at least that's what the girls in Spring Breakers or Ke$ha would say, and it's very much that era of unruly neon vibe that Selena Gomez is channelling in sneak peak of her upcoming music video for Single Now.

Obsessed.

At first we clocked the chunky neon pink acrylic nails, long and super square super different to the longer-than-life oval nails that have come in the decade since. As they glow in the dark of what appears to be a pool shot, we're getting serious flashbacks.

But it doesn't just stop there, look at that shimmering eye look and the duo chrome highlighter glistening across her cheeks, chin, brow, nose, forehead and... well basically everywhere. Can we expect a return of the unicorn/space girl glimmer dust?

We're desperate to get a good look at this beauty moment when the video comes out, as we suspect from this grid post, the throwback vibe is very intentional.

Just look at that sparkly dress and fur combo that screams TikTok and I don't mean the clock app. The clutter in one shot consists of Polaroids, an Xbox controller and do we spy a homage to Carrie Bradshaw's breakup post it note? "I'm sorry, I can't. Don't hate me".

Everyone's clicking on...

We need to see this video and the rest of the beauty looks. Luckily, we don't have too long to wait as Selena wrote in the caption; "Y’all have been asking for new music for a while. Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer. SINGLE SOON. August 25th. Presave it now. 😘"
