To be completely honest with you, I never feel quite fulfilled without a Kardashian-Jenner hair transformation – the life of a beauty journo, ey? Taking one for the team today is the eldest of the sister clan, Kourtney, with her very own take on the recently popular bob hair trend. I guess it's her way or the highway (rightly so)... and we ain't mad about it.
Posting a 10-part Instagram carousel (as one does), Kourt looks to be showing off her black leather corset, paired with a glitter fringe skirt and knee-high leather boot. Now, while we're so here for this Matrix-esque fashion combo, what takes our fancy on the Cosmo beauty desk is her hair, duh! The mum-of-three's freshly-cut, shiny blonde locks have been styled with a rounded edge and curved lines, giving what we like to call, a 'mushroom' bob.
This particular style of cut was popular circa 1920s flapper era, and usually would've been paired with a blunt cut full fringe.
And not only that but to put a 2023 twist on the look, Kourt's hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos styled her tresses with a rumpled Hollywood curl that is a very chic take on bedhead hair. Think: a 7am wake up but with an hour (or two!) to refine and shape her lengths.
Although this round cut isn't quite level with the lobes of her ears (as it would have been way back when), it's certainly shorter than your average shoulder-length bob. The star first debuted the cropped cut just last month over on the 'Gram.
I mean, with her now-added kink, she's pretty much a blonde Betty Boop!
Everyone's clicking on...
If you haven't jumped on the bob trend by now (read: Hailey Bieber, Zendaya and Sarah Michelle Gellar are all leading ladies), then I think Kourt's cut is a sign to do so... happy chopping!
