Face-framing layers are nothing new, nor are they old. They've been around for a good while – and certainly long enough for Kourtney Kardashian to revive hers from the early 2000s era. Like I always say: trends come and go but the Kardashians are forever.
Weird fangirl moment aside, Kourtney did recently share a series of pictures to her Instagram page, including a throwback snap wearing her hair in a half-up half-down 'do. But what completes the look (and frames her face) are her chin-length, side-sweeping bangs – everyone at that time had them... you just had to be there.
Interestingly enough, Kourt seems to be wearing a very similar hairstyle in one of her most recent mirror selfies included in the 10-part carousel. Scroll to the second slide below to see her modern version of the throwback look shown in slide four.
To update her look and continue the everlasting Millennial vs Gen Z debate, Kourt has opted to style her (still chin-length!) bangs in a middle part, whereas years ago, the go-to was a side part.
In the comments section, a friend of Kourt's commented: "4th pic", to which she responded "2008 ?". I mean, I think we all could assume that the pic wasn't a recent snap but 2008... aka, 15 years ago?! Something is not adding up here because the mum of three has not aged a single day.
Oh, and even the makeup is, well, pretty similar. I guess this just goes to show that a smokey eye and nude lip will (like the Kardashians) live on forever.
Everyone's clicking on...
Guys, I promise I do not have a Kar-Jenner shrine in my house...
