When you think of Ariana Grande's aesthetic, It's likely you think of a few major iconic things. There's the side-part sleek pony. There's the oversized hoodie, swaddling Ari to her knuckles. There's the thigh-high stiletto boots that she casually performed entire arena sets in. Oh, and there's the signature eyeliner flick.
But Ari's been on an experimentation hype since 2021 and I, quite franky, am living for it. We'd only just finished swooning over her wedding hair and makeup before she went ahead and showed off her lovely natural hair without extensions.
She's also been known to give herself the odd drag makeover, dabble in a super-blonde beehive or two, try out ombré pigtails and even serve air-dried gorgeousness with her natural curls.
But Ari just changed the game again with her latest IG post drop, featuring an all-new look that she's been teasing for a couple of days. The most recent shot, captioned "POV 🖤 official live performance video tomorrow at 9am pst @vevo" shows Ari kneeling, looking into the distance, and notably, with an all-new baby-braid hairstyle. And, while she's still sporting eyeliner in the pictures, she's upgraded the look to a graphic, Doja Cat-style raver vibe with sharp floating lines drawn into the socket - a seriously cool evolution.
She's also dressed a little different from the classic Ari vibe, opting for high-waisted leather pants, a cut-out bralette and long purple satin gloves.
Anyone else getting a Buffy vibe?
