Cardi B's platinum-blonde beehive is unreal

It's fair to say that 2020 has been the year of hair transformations - with so little else going on in the world, it's a perfect opportunity for a bit of escapism, whether you're a celeb or a mere mortal.

And though Cardi B has had a pretty busy year despite COVID, she's still had plenty of time to dedicate to morphing from one iconic look to another via hair choices. She's tried everything from a full fringe to '90s bombshell hair, pearly braids to multicoloured pixie crops and beyond. Oh, and remember her Louis Vuitton hair?

This time round, in a video for husband Offset, Cardi's rocking blonde lengths piled high into the look of the season, a 1960s beehive effect.

It's of course not the first time she's gone platinum, nor the first time she's sported a bombshell look, but can we agree how much she suits this high-glam aesthetic?

In the video Cardi B is seen chilling in front of a mirror with what is basically a sculpture of platinum hair, razor-sharp red talons and a gloss-smoke eye. She shoulder-dances for a second to the music, and then Offset can be seen entering the room and giving her a cuddle from behind.

In the caption she wrote:

"Happy birthday Hubs ❤️ I wish you many more.I wish you more positivity,wisdom,health and for God to continue to keep you with a good heart.Thank you soo much for helping me these past months getting my business in line(somebody gotta be the mean 1😅) I❤️u .Lets turn it up tonight !!"

Offset replied to the post with a simple "Love you".
