It might be almost two years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot, but we're still just as obsessed with Meghan's bridal makeup.

That glow, those freckles, that natural lip colour, if 'no makeup, makeup' had a place in the dictionary, this would be the picture pride of place next to it.

Thankfully, Meghan's makeup artist for the big day, Daniel Martin, has been gradually spilling his bridal secrets ever since.

From the glowy skin hack he implores everyone to try immediately, to the surprising product he uses as a highlighter.

Now, in a new interview with Vogue, Daniel shared his top tips for brides doing their big day makeup themselves.

Starting with skin, he recommends using a blurring primer to give radiance, without shine, and "knocking out" redness by spot concealing with a full coverage concealer.

To sculpt, Daniel suggests using a matter bronzer, but most importantly adding a natural flush of colour to the cheeks with blusher.

We know from experience that one of the hardest things is picking the right shade of blush. Thankfully there is one colour in particular that Daniel recommends to all his brides as the rosy pink shade won't clash with your lipstick shade.

That colour is Charlotte Tilbury's Cheek to Chic Blusher in the shade Pillow Talk.

In terms of placement, Daniel suggest starting at the centre of your cheek (just below your pupil) and swiping out towards your ears, avoiding coming too close to your nose.

If you think that the original Pillow Talk might be too light for your skin tone, Charlotte has now released an 'Intense' version, so all complexions can get that same hint of pink.

Now we just need to find our own bride or groom...
