Back in November, Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague was accused of being culturally insensitive after using a dark foundation shade during her everyday makeup routine.
Molly-Mae shared her foundation of choice in a YouTube video on her channel and revealed she uses MAC's Studio Fix in shade NC43 (of which there are 55 shades in total).
After being called out online by people who claimed she shouldn't be using the same foundation as those with darker skin tones, Molly-Mae has now uploaded a new 'Winter Glam Get Ready With Me' and she's changed her foundation shade to something a little more her colour.
Addressing the controversy straight on, Molly-Mae seemed frustrated by the criticism she received:
"Many of you will pleased to know that I have actually changed my foundation. Should I have changed my foundation because of what everyone was saying about my last video? Probably not. Did I? Yes.
"This is actually a foundation that I've been using for years and I've just gone back to using it. I'm wearing it in shade 'Barcelona' and if anyone's offended by that then I'm sorry.
"I'm past the point of actually having anything to say. I never realised how many people I could offend by applying foundation.
"I think I'm going to do a whole video soon talking about trolling and my experience with it. Some days you do just feel like you can't do anything right. Whether it's cooking my boyfriend a meal, whether it's applying foundation, whether it's dressing up for Halloween, you do genuinely just feel like you can't do anything right.
"But I guess this is a world that I volunteered myself into and I didn't really realise how crazy it was going to be. I thought I was prepared for it, I thought I understood how much my life was going to change and I thought I was prepared for it, but I think it's safe to say I wasn't."
