On Tuesday night Jeffree Star uploaded a YouTube video announcing that over $2.5million worth of makeup was stolen from his Jeffree Star Cosmetics warehouse, including his unreleased Magic Star Concealer - which has since leaked online.
The robbery came just days after the launch of Jeffree's Blue Blood eyeshadow palette, which sold out on the day of release. Not only are the FBI involved, but the makeup mogul announced he has hired a team of investigators to track down the criminals involved.
According to Jeffree, thousands of his Northern Lights Highlighter Palettes, Platinum Ice Liquid Frost Highlighters and Velour Lip Liners were all stolen. But the most upsetting news for his brand was that an entire shipment of his yet to be released concealer was taken.
"They took an entire shade of f*cking concealer. I have 30 plus shades in this amazing line. I am so proud of it, the formula is unreal and I am so excited for you guys to experience it later this month. I didn't plan on talking about it, or showing things off today, but things happen."
Explaining that he only has a few hundred of shade C5 left, Jeffree revealed that he and his team were waiting for the concealer to pop up online after the theft. Which it did on a Facebook Marketplace page.
Referencing a similar robbery from Anastasia Beverly Hills's warehouse a year ago where $4.5million worth of makeup was taken, Jeffree explained that the burglary was carried out by black market dealers, who then sell the makeup on via third parties. The person who posted the concealer to sell on Facebook is currently in jail while police investigate how they got access to the stolen goods.

As Jeffree has insurance, his company will be covered for the loss, but it looks unlikely he will get his products back, as they are already popping up for sale on black market websites and apps.
Seeing as the concealer had already been leaked, Jeffree decided to share a few details on his latest release, announcing that it will be accompanied by eight setting powders. While we have to wait for the full product details, he did give us a sneak peak of the packaging, which is pretty much the embodiment of Jeffree's lavish pink personality.
