It's been a couple of weeks since the the whole Tristan Thompson/Jordyn Woods situation, and it seems as though we're still seeing some of the aftershocks... Jordyn is currently in London living her best life, Khloé Kardashian is still posting shade, and Tristan is doing who knows what. Kylie Jenner, however, is out here trying to clarify some of the things that happened during the peak of the scandal—namely, that she *didn't* put Jordyn's Jordy lip kit on sale to subtly dig at Jordyn, or hint at how she was really feeling about the situation.
In an interview with the New York Times published yesterday, Kylie said that she actually had no idea that the Jordy lip kits were discounted in the first place and that "she called an employee as soon as she heard." Apparently, the real reason that the Jordyn lip kits were on sale was because Kylie Cosmetics switched from white to black packaging, and it had nothing to do with Tristan kissing Jordyn.
For the people who saw it as a diss to Jordyn, Kylie adds, “That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back. Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”
So while the fate of their friendship is still TBD, at least now we know that Jordyn and Kylie aren't fighting over this whole lip kit situation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
