Emilia Clarke is making the rounds for her Solo: A Star Wars Story press tour—but she can't escape her other life as the Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones. The actress hit up Good Morning America showing off a shorter bob haircut—the shortest hair she's ever had.

It's not that she wanted to go shorter, per se, but her icy blonde hair colour—part of her Season 8 GOT look—forced her hand. "In other news this FABULOUS new bob is the chicest way to style out some burnt out mother of dragons split ends," Clarke wrote on Instagram. She then wrote a series of lengthy and funny hashtags (her Instagram signature), including "#everypunintended" and "#whenyourendslooklikeawildlingsitstimetochop."

Clarke tagged celebrity hairstylist Jenny Cho in the post, which means she's likely the one who took her hair from a long lob to a short bob. "After a decade of good times you make me wanna whip my super fly hair back and forth #🙌#canigetahellsyeah #❤️ #🔥," Clarke wrote.

This is the latest in a series of hair changes for the star. When she first began filming Solo, Clarke debuted a short wavy bob with wispy bangs. After the movie wrapped, she dyed her hair Targaryen blonde with the help of Game Of Thrones hairstylists Kev Alexander and Candice Banks. "Mother of dragons meet Emilia. Emilia meet mother of dragons. If you squint just so you might never know," she captioned her first blonde Instagram pic back in September 2017.
