If you were one of the people who opted to be a fielder in rounders because you genuinely had a talent for catching, put on your game face because Jeffree Star is out here throwing more shade than I can manage with these two hands.

If, on the other hand you merely chose the role of fielder as an excuse to do as little physical exercise as impossible (respect), join Kylie Jenner on the subs bench and remove your shade-proof vests.

Jeffree Star has taken a break from calling out Kylie Jenner, only to move onto makeup artist and founder, Charlotte Tilbury.

This week Charlotte announced the launch of her brand new product, Hollywood Flawless Filter. An illuminator that promises to give a "superstar youth glow".

But when Instagram account Trendmood1 posted an update on the new product (which has since been updated) calling it a "foundation filter hybrid" that was available in 7 shades, Jeffree Star wasted no time in going IN on the brand.

"7 shades??? Seriously fuck off. Why even BOTHER launching this until there's at least 25 shades to start with... hey @ctilburymakeup - listen to the consumers and wake up."

Everyone's clicking on...

Thanks to the launch of Fenty Beauty and their 30 foundation shades, the lack of diversity in the beauty world is finally being addressed. An area that is problematic for Jeffree considering his past racist comments. But after making an apology video he has since announced that he is launching his own concealer and foundation, with a reported 25 shades.

But as many commenters pointed out, Charlotte Tilbury's product isn't a foundation, despite the fact that Trend Mood called it a foundation hybrid. It's an illuminator, designed to give a 'celebrity-superstar-lit glow'. Seeing as illuminator's don't need to be an exact skin tone match, there wouldn't be a need for such a large shade range.

Fellow YouTuber Jackie Aina who recently accused Kylie Jenner of not sending makeup to beauty bloggers of colour weighed in on the drama on Twitter to give her opinion after trying the product. Jackie explained that it's a tinted primer that disappears into the skin and that 7 shades was more than sufficient considering the type of product it is.

We have reached out to Charlotte Tilbury for comment.
