Meet the (Brave) Contestants on Netflix’s ‘Temptation Island’ Season 1
We’ve got couples ready to put their love to the ultimate test (and some hot singles administering that test).
Since the dawn of time, fairy tales have perpetuated the uplifting notion that love conquers all. But what if Prince Charming had found himself in a tropical paradise full of attractive and eligible singles all vying for his affection? Would “happily ever after” hold up then? On Netflix’s new reality dating series Temptation Island, that very notion is put to the test. But instead of fairy tale characters, it’s four real-life couples who all want to see if their relationships can hold up in the face of temptation on a remote, tropical island. What could possibly go wrong? (The answer is everything. Everything could and probably will go very, very wrong—but in the most entertaining way for us viewers.)
Along with the 4 couples, there are also 24 sexy singles thrown into the mix who will try their best to get the coupled up folks to give into their desires and stray from their partners. Who will have the self-control to resist and who will succumb to their lustful urges? Odds are that the couples who entered this competition together won’t be the same ones fans will see leaving paradise together, when all is said and done.
You’ll have to watch the first season to find out for yourselves which duos survive the romance chopping block, but in the meantime, here’s a look at all of Netflix’s Temptation Island season 1 contestants you’ll meet along the way.
Ashley Moore and Grant Larsen
What we know about them: Ashley is a 28-year-old accountant/CPA and entrepreneur who has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Grant for over a year but struggles to know if she can really trust him based on his past indiscretions. Meanwhile, Grant is a 28-year-old business owner and founder of Amora Beachwear. And while he’s been unfaithful to Ashley in the past, he claims to have seen the error of his ways. But are those just empty words? Only time will tell.

Shanté Glover and Brion G. Whitley
What we know about them: Shanté is 29 years old and a clinical health care worker. She also serves as a Pilates instructor in her spare time. Brion is 26 years old and works as a medical device and pharmaceutical sales rep. The two of them have been dating for a year and are hoping to take their relationship to the next level, which includes even starting a family. However, Brion’s wandering eye has left Shanté unsure if he’s able to make that type of commitment. Being on this show should certainly provide the clarity she’s looking for.

Tayler Byrd and Tyler Breshears
What we know about them: Tayler is a 30-year-old health education specialist and personal trainer. And Tyler is 27 years old, has a background in sales, and has dabbled in modeling. Tyler also used to be married to someone else for six years and began dating Tayler shortly after his divorce. Jumping from one serious relationship to another has left Tyler curious about the single life and discovering who he is without being tied to someone else. And since Tayler hopes Tyler is in it for the long run, she’s ready to put their love to the test and throw temptation right into his path. But perhaps she’ll come to discover that he isn’t the only one who could be enticed by another.

Alexa Santamaria and Lino Massimo Troisi
What we know about them: Alexa, 28, is a labor and delivery nurse while Lino, 28, is a health coach and personal trainer. The two of them have been together for three years and are very much in love. In fact, it’s the only serious relationship Lino has ever been in, which is sweet, but also makes him unsure if he’s qualified to know if Alexa is the one for him. Could he be tempted if another opportunity came his way? That’s what he’s looking to find out. Meanwhile, Alexa hopes to gain a little independence from the experience and rely a little less on Lino for her wants and needs—and maybe giving in to some other wants and needs in the process.

Case Bruton
What we know about him: Case is a 30-year-old CEO business owner and professional basketball player. He also has an adorably close relationship with his mother, whom he posts pictures of regularly on social media. That alone right there makes him a pretty great catch. The ladies may have a difficult time resisting his charms.

Chris Kotselidis
What we know about him: Chris is 29 years old and works in sales and as a fitness model. And if there’s one thing you should know about this dude it’s that he loves taking muscle selfies. (I don’t think that’s actually a term anyone is using, but it’s exactly what he does.) His social media is full of selfies of himself that showcase one thing: his muscles. And to his credit, he does have a lot of them, which I’m sure many of his fellow contestants will appreciate (or resent).

Cody Wright
What we know about him: Cody is 31 years old and works as a project manager for construction. He also is the dog-parent to an adorable pit bull named Jax, whom he’s posted about several times on Instagram. A guy and a cute fur-baby sound like a pretty winning combo.

Dan Hunter
What we know about him: Dan is 36 years old and serves as a director of tech sales. Fun fact: This isn’t Dan’s first stint on a reality dating show. In 2022, he was one of the gentleman suitors in the first (and only) season of the NBC dating show The Courtship, which involved them all wearing Regency-era attire while going on dates. (Basically, it’s like if Bridgerton and The Bachelorette had a love child.) But given that he’s now bound for Temptation Island, it seems love wasn’t in the cards for him back then. Maybe this time it’ll be different.

Danny Spongberg
What we know about him: Danny is 23 years old and currently has a job in solar sales. His social media also seems to indicate that he loves to travel pretty much everywhere. Perhaps his next destination will be into a woman’s heart.

Erik Thornally
What we know about him: Erik is 28 years old and owns his own candy store named Saturday Sweets. There are also at least two videos dedicated to him crushing a fully grown watermelon with nothing but his own muscles, which is odd but impressive. Honestly, he had me at owning a candy store.

Giovanni
What we know about him: Giovanni is 29 years old and works in the digital marketing sector. Based on his social media, he enjoys traveling, soccer, and purposefully looking away from the camera in his pictures. Perhaps he’s feeling pensive or dreaming about who he’ll connect with on the show.

Hashim Moore
What we know about him: Hashim is 30 years old and works as a director of sales. His Instagram indicates that he’s done some modeling, and graduated from Princeton in 2017. Smart, successful, and attractive? Something tells me this guy won’t remain single on this island for very long.

Logan Paulsen
What we know about him: Logan is 23 years old and is in solar sales, like Danny. (Something to bond over on the island, perhaps?) He’s also into boxing and is the proud dad to an adorable cat.

Max Collier
What we know about him: Max is a 30-year-old project manager who loves being shirtless and hanging out in tropical places. Looks like Max and this series will prove to be a match made in heaven. But will the love connection stop there?

Quentin
What we know about him: Quentin is 36 years old and a fitness trainer. And since he seems to have no social media to speak of, he is officially the most mysterious contestant of them all. So much like the island inhabitants, we viewers will just have to wait to get to know him as the season progresses.

Yamen Sanders
What we know about him: Yamen is a 30-year-old entrepreneur/investor. However, reality show fans will most likely recognize him from his days as a contestant of Love Island USA season 1. Obviously, he didn’t end up finding love on that particular island, but maybe his luck is about to change if he’s able to tempt the right person.

Alex Zamora
What we know about her: Alex is a 26-year-old model and influencer. As of now, she hasn’t posted a ton about herself on Instagram outside her various modeling shoots, but in the caption of her Temptation Island photo she wrote, “When it comes to temptation…you could say I’m a professional.” So she definitely isn’t afraid to put herself out there and test everyone’s fidelity.

What we know about her: Amiah is 24 years old and works as a jeweler and content creator. Part of her brand involves posting various editing tutorials on social media, which are kinda cool. Her charm and bubbly personality could be just the thing to lure these guys into temptation.

What we know about her: Courtney is a 27-year-old model and actress who was also a contestant on the fifth season of another popular Netflix reality show, Too Hot to Handle. Let’s see what kind of drama she’s able to stir up in this tropical paradise.
