The last few weeks have been flooded with iconic moments in fashion. Between Dua Lipa’s custom Bottega Veneta dress and Taylor Swift’s homemade “Stevie Knicks” tee, we wanted in on the fun! So in attempts of squashing the FOMO, Cosmo curated our very own moment in fashion last Tuesday to celebrate the release of Diesel’s latest denim styles.
It all went down in the lobby of century-old Cherry Lane Theatre where Wild Cherry lives. This West Village Bar is reputable for being one of NYC’s most sought-after reservations and made the perfect host for this celebratory night. To amplify the vibes, DJ duo and denim lovers, Jade Croonenberghs and Alici Sol curated a special playlist which has been on repeat since. The pair also starred in Cosmopolitan’s latest denim trend report, which showcased some of the most coveted denim styles of the summer season.
Obviously, we couldn’t celebrate alone, so we called up a few of our favorite VIP guests to attend. Creators including Eric Sedeno, Ashley Gill, Grant Gibbs, Boman Martinez-Reid, Katie Fang, Emma Brooks, Davis Burleson and more attended dressed in Diesel’s very own denim (which we are running to buy). And it wouldn't be a proper party without small bites, cosmopolitans (duh), and Cosmo quizzes for guests to fill out during the event.
After a few hours of much needed dancing and drinking, the night eventually came to a close and we found ourselves leaving with a photo album of Diesel’s new styles to add to our cart. Looking for denim inspo? Consider these a wishlist!
