It’s safe to say Gap has been on a roll lately. The brand is very much in its glow-up era, with designer Zac Posen helping lead the revamp. And the latest collaboration (launched today!) with Victoria Beckham, pop-star-turned-fashion-designer, only reinforces that shift. Gap is tuned into what people want: elevated, luxe-feeling pieces that still feel approachable and accessible. So let’s get into more details.
The 38-piece collection—ranging from $34 to $324—centers on everyday staples, reworked with sharper structure and more personality. Think clean silhouettes and updated versions of classics with modern cuts and proportions. There are also plenty of early-aughts moments (capris, cropped denim, cargo skirts), leaning into the nostalgic throwback trend we’re all clearly still obsessed with—and that makes complete sense coming from one of the most stylish icons of that era!
Some of the standout pieces I’m into right now are the Trench Coat, the white High Rise Arc Jeans, and the White Denim Zip Shirt. They all work on their own as bold staples and basics, styled with pretty much anything. But you can also wear them together for an especially strong outfit.
This spring, the drop’s trench is the kind of layer you can throw on when the weather can’t make up its mind. And the jeans bring that softly exaggerated barrel shape everyone’s into right now for a relaxed, yet defined shape with just the right amount of baggy. I’m also a fan of the denim zip shirt, which keeps any outfit looking crisp and sophisticated.
This collection has something everyone seems to be looking for these days: a touch of quiet luxury, Carolyn Bessette–inspired minimalism, and even that refined baddie Hailey Bieber–type aesthetic. It’s a capsule wardrobe dream! Things are already selling out fast, so I’d get to shopping while you can…
