My Life With the Walter Boys has returned for a second season, with Jackie back in Silver Falls, Colorado, living once again with the Walter family.
Season one ended on a dramatic note, with Jackie fleeing back to New York alongside her uncle Richard and Danny, who had been accepted into the Juilliard School’s summer program. But her escape didn’t sit well with Walter family matriarch Katherine, who made the trip to New York herself to bring Jackie back to where she truly belongs.
The drama only deepened in season two. Jackie’s ex, Alex, gave her the cold shoulder for leaving without a word, while the simmering tension between Jackie and Cole continued to bubble beneath the surface—a slow burn that kept fans guessing.
The final episode closed on a poignant note, with a heartfelt tribute that read: "In Memory of Todd Giroux."
Understandably, viewers have wondered who Todd Giroux is, and his connection to My Life With the Walter Boys.
Here's everything you need to know.
Who is Todd Giroux?
Todd Giroux was an accomplished producer, having worked on numerous television series over the past decade, including Animal Control, Murder in a Small Town, Warrior Nun, Van Helsing, The Order, as well as My Life With the Walter Boys.
Giroux passed away on 4th July 2025 at the age of 51, and the Netflix series paid tribute to the late producer with a heartfelt dedication card following his passing. He served as an associate producer on the first season of the show, playing a key role behind the scenes.
In addition to his work as a producer, Giroux made significant contributions across editorial departments and amassed an impressive 59 production manager credits over the course of his career.
A statement from Todd's sister read: "He was the most loving and caring husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, dog dad, cat dad, dad of any animal really, that needed a safe place to call home. But he was also a super talented AP/Post Producer and Supervisor, Mentor, Chef (his pizza!), Baker, furniture maker, hockey lover, handyman, camping enthusiast, lover of traveling, Iron Maiden enthusiast, wood working genius, he had so many hobbies I’d be here all day listing all them.
"If he didn’t know how to do it, he would sit down and teach himself how to do it, and do it with such skill you would think he had been doing it his whole life. He had a beautiful curious mind that never stopped, and he was the hardest worker out there."
My Life With the Walter Boys season 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
