In case you missed it, we’re obsessed with I Love LA. You know, the generation-defining HBO Max comedy that got renewed for Season 2 halfway through its first season? The one whose stars graced our latest digital cover? Everyone we know caught the season finale last night, well, except for the select few who watched it days earlier alongside I Love LA star and creator Rachel Sennott. Don’t worry, I’m jealous too.

It all went down on December 18 at Cecconi’s. The teams at Meta, HBO Max, and Cosmo gathered an intimate group of L.A.-based creators, including Brett Neustrom, Maya Umemoto Gorman, and Harry Daniels, for a lunch hosted by Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Willa Bennett alongside Rachel Sennott. The finale played over passed appetizers, the debrief occurred during the main course, and at dessert, Willa and Rachel sat down to chat about the success of the show, Rachel’s creative process, and what the characters have taught her about love and sex. This is Cosmo, after all!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the swag bags made their appearance. Think: Threads tote bags filled with I Love LA custom cookies, fuzzy car dice, pink Cosmo hats, and custom red Cosmo lighters. Like I said, I’m jealous too. Here’s to manifesting an invite next season.
