Yamen Sanders is looking for love (again) on season 4 of Netflix’s Perfect Match. Though only the first five episodes have dropped so far, the dating show veteran accidentally spoiled his fate on the Netflix dating show (which filmed last fall) when he appeared on season 3 of Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, where he met and built a relationship with Whitney Adebayo.
The two have been going strong since coming in fifth place back in February…that is, up until just days after Perfect Match premiered, when a source for The Sun claimed the two were over.
Per the insider: “Whitney and Yamen did try and put everything into their relationship. But it has inevitably been tough to keep up their romance long-distance. Whitney has been spending more time with her girls and has been leaning on them while navigating her break-up.”
However, there has already been another twist! Eagle-eyed fans think the former flames may have reunited days after their split (if they even broke up at all!), thanks to their respective Snapchat stories.
Per screenshots obtained by The Sun, Yamen and Whitney seemingly shared snaps from the same apartment, where they each ate and posted the same breakfast sandwich. Could this be a soft relaunch, or simply confirmation that the breakup rumors were totally false?
It all comes at a pretty interesting time, since the rest of Perfect Match season 4 has yet to air on Netflix. Yamen had hit it off with Natalie Cruz during the first few episodes of the season…and, per the latest eps, it looks like he might have been into exploring another connection with DeMari Davis’s ex, Bri Balram (who, btw, is now seemingly dating Whitney’s ex, Lochan Nowacki…).
Time will tell whether Whitney actually ends up being Yamen’s perfect match!
