Everyone’s Looks from Cassie and Nate’s Wedding on ‘Euphoria,’ Ranked by WTF

Euphoria is known for maximalist fashion and makeup, so it would stand to reason that a wedding episode would bring out some wild looks. But somehow, the fashion of Nate and Cassie’s wedding on Euphoria exceeded expectations. Let’s go through all of the fashion, ranked from relatively normal to totally inappropriate.
Inappropriate for a wedding, that is. There definitely is a time and place for these revealing dresses. It’s just not a formal event where the goal is to support and not outshine the bride and groom. I’m not even narratively on her side, but these guests especially are actually so lucky that Cassie had bigger fish to fry (a.k.a. Nate) and didn’t FTFO at them for showing up on what should have been her day.
Suzane "Suze" Howard
At any other wedding, the mother of the bride wearing a sparkly sleeveless red dress might be seen as attention-grabbing. Not this one, though! She’s kind of the most normal-looking person there.
Cal and Marsha Jacobs
The same goes for Nate’s parents, played by the late Eric Dane and Paula Marshall. Glitter and sequins work well on the adults of Euphoria as well!
Nate Jacobs
The groom isn’t really giving anything fashion-wise. This is good for him, because he is giving debt and corruption. Those very nice flowers can’t save him!
Rue Bennett
I think Rue kind of understood the assignment best of Cassie and Nate’s guests. (We’ll get to her +1, Jules, in a minute.) But Rue elevated her signature style perfectly! Even the Chuck Taylors kind of work. She matches the ‘70s vibes of the wedding well enough. Her look is inoffensive, formal enough, and true to Rue.
The James Brown Impersonator
Completely obsessed with the wedding singer who nailed his assignment. It’s an assignment I don’t 100 percent understand for this wedding, but he nailed it.
The Wedding Party
Sure, the bridesmaid dresses are ugly. But they’re a fun kind of ugly. The green suits on the groomsmen are kind of perfect. Men have it so easy...
Cassie Howard
It wouldn’t be Euphoria without pastel eyeshadow, so we can’t really begrudge Cassie that choice. The wedding dress is very her, that’s for certain, and I honestly don’t hate it. I was kind of on board with the ice cream cone bodice for most of the episode. The tan lines are not ideal, but what can you do?
Maddy Perez
Rosary! On! The! Ass! Crack! Truly, need we say more? Just because they weren’t in a church doesn’t make that okay. Still, Maddy’s dress is a great color and she looks great in it. She just looks more like a Batman villain than a wedding guest. Even the matching faux fur doesn’t make it appropriate.
Jules Vaughn
Again, there’s no denying that the dress looks incredible on Jules. But I cannot advise showing up to a wedding, as a +1 or an invited guest, with an entire 1/3 of your body hanging out. (To be fair, some of what looks like exposed skin is actually nude-colored mesh. But still!) Is this supposed to be a revenge dress, against both Nate and Cal? Why would you waste a dress like that on such an emotionally fraught event? Save it for the runway or the Met Gala.
BB
The pregnant and forgotten member of the Euphoria friend group somehow managed to combine every bad thing about everyone else’s wedding attire into a trashy orange monstrosity. How is she the only one who’s underdressed? Poor BB.
