Audio from the Summer House reunion leaked on Reddit mere hours after the cast filmed, and now Bravo is launching a full-blown investigation. But…who leaked the audio? Kyle Cooke has some theories about how and where the audio was captured.
Calling the leak “frustrating and annoying,” Kyle said, “This is not a phone on set. Everybody, if you do have a phon on set, it’s stuck behind a pillow or in a couch cushion so the cameras can’t see it, and I don’t really see what anyone would gain having leaked this. And that goes for producers, crew, and Bravo. This is someone clearly acting on their own.”
He added that he thinks “someone took their phone and put it next to a speaker where there was a live feed” in one of the “couple different rooms” with monitors. He then spoke about “who would have access” to these rooms, saying “All the hair and makeup teams that are either paid for by Bravo or paid for by individual cast, they are stuck in their dressing rooms, they don’t actually get to see or hear anything. It’s kinda a boring day for them. Getting access is a highly restricted highly secured situation.”
Bravo released a statement about the leak, saying it “represents a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew and the integrity of the production process. We take this matter very seriously and have launched a full investigation and we will take appropriate action based on our findings.”
