• The White Lotus is reportedly filming Season 4 in France.
  • The show will use two locations: Paris and the French Riviera.
  • Season 4 is still in development and won't film until 2026.

It's almost time to check back into The White Lotus! News broke back in September that the hit HBO show's fourth season would take place in the South of France, and now more details are being revealed.

Variety reports that the Mike White show has "actively been scouting swank locations" in not one, but two locations: Paris and the French Riviera. The outlet notes that the bulk of Season 4 will "likely unfold" in the South of France, with a subplot in Paris.

So...have they picked out specific hotels? Apparently not yet—but they have time. Sources say season 4 is reportedly "still in development" and won't actually shoot until next year. And in a twist, it looks like The White Lotus might not shoot at a Four Seasons property this time around. Per Variety, "Season 4 will go a different route as HBO hasn’t renewed its marketing partnership with the Four Seasons hotel chain."

Instead, the show has been visiting various luxury hotels in Paris including the Ritz Paris and Le Lutetia—the latter of which was home to the likes of Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, Charlie Chaplin, and Josephine Baker.

Genuinely can't wait.
