What is the WLF or the Washington Liberation Front?

Abby reveals that the WLF is a militia group that she has been a part of for the last five years. The group is based in Seattle and Abby tells him that she would normally warn him not to go there, but hints at his death. Under a commanding officer, Abby and the rest of the group learned to work under a code: "We don't kill people that can't defend themselves."

Along with Abby, other members of the group include Owen, Mel, Nora, and Manny. Some of them are soldiers, while others are medics. While the group is based in Seattle, this group have been traveling together and helping Abby as she tried to get her revenge on Joel after he killed her father.

More about the group is still unknown in the TV show, but will no doubt play a part of what comes next especially if you've played the game.

Who are the Washington Liberation Front in The Last of Us Part II?

In The Last of Us Part II it is later revealed that the WLF is a militia group that took over after they took down FEDRA in the Seattle quarantine zone. Although they initially promised more freedom after taking down FEDRA in the city, they would later use their power to force people to join them or suffer consequences. They ended up being just as strict, if not stricter, than the former group that they took over and also killed those that were openly against them. The Washington Liberation Front are not open to outsiders and over the years have proven themselves to be a powerful force thanks to their military power and later technological advances.

In the present day, they have been battling against the Seraphites, another group that is based in Seattle that is also fighting for power in the quarantine zone.
