If you've been wearing capes à la Alan Cumming and/or cheering when your roommate emerges at breakfast just to keep the spirit of The Traitors alive after season 2, then WELCOME. You're in the right place. Thankfully, this isn’t the end of the reality competition series, 'cause season 3 of The Traitors is riiiiight around the corner.
The Peacock series—which is based on a Dutch series and has sibling counterparts in the UK, Australia, France, Canada, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Ireland, Greece, and more—made some tweaks in season 2. And while we don't know everything that's planned for season 3 yet, here is what we do know about the new season.
So is The Traitors coming back for season 3?
Yes!! The American version of The Traitors has been renewed for a third season. Peacock confirmed the news in February 2024, also noting that Alan will continue to host the series. (Thank goodness.)
Side note: In August, Deadline announced that The Traitors would ALSO be back for seasons 4 and 5 on Peacock, so...we're going to be fed for a while, friends.

When is The Traitors season 3 coming out?
We've got a release date, y'all! The Traitors season 3 premieres on Peacock on January 9 and we are BEYOND ready for it. Just like with season 2, we'll be getting the first three episodes all at once, and then they'll be released in weekly installments after that.
