When Spotify’s Top Global Artist is coming to town, preparing a warm welcome (and a cocktail or two) is key.
This year has, undeniably, belonged to Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican superstar dominated the Latin Grammy Awards with five wins and is already looking ahead to an even bigger year, scoring six nominations at the 2026 Grammys—including the coveted Album of the Year. And come February, he’ll take over pop culture’s biggest stage as Super Bowl Halftime headliner, making history as the first artist to perform exclusively in a language other than English.
As if that weren’t enough, Bad Bunny has been taking his Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour on a globe-trotting victory lap. On Wednesday, December 10, the Grammy winner kicked off the first of eight sold-out shows at Mexico City’s GNP Seguros Stadium (because obviously, one night simply wasn’t enough). Powered by tour sponsor Hennessy, Cosmopolitan was on the ground to witness every electrifying beat drop, outfit change, cocktail, and crowd-losing-its-mind moment, and can confirm yes: the hype is absolutely real.
In celebration of Bad Bunny's arrival, local CDMX spots including Botánico, Kaito del Valle, and Blanco Castelar altered their food and cocktail menus to pay tribute to his Puerto Rican roots; The “Henny Benny” cocktail, made with Hennessy V.S., at the Michelin-approved Botánico was a highlight. Inside the stadium, Diego Boneta, Luna Blaise, Zack Lugo, and more VIPs enjoyed signature cocktails and a DJ set from Alex Sensation at the stadium’s HENNESSY CLúB. Beverages inspired by the DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS tour, the Hennessy De Coco, and Hennessy Pasión will be available to fans at the remaining tour stops.
Though access to the La Casita Stage wasn’t possible during the show, Feid’s surprise appearance during “Perro Negro” still made for a standout moment. At the end of the night, Bad Bunny showed his love for the fans, saying, “Thank you, Mexico, for loving this Puerto Rican with all of your heart." By the time his eight-show run concludes on December 21, more than 500,000 fans will have enjoyed the DTmF tour in CDMX—a sendoff befitting a guy with a cool 19.8 billion Spotify streams in 2025.
