SZA is on top right now. She not only became the first artist this year to simultaneously have the No. 1 album (LANA) and movie (One of Them Days) in the U.S., but she’s gearing up for her upcoming stadium tour with Kendrick Lamar this summer. Oh, and she dished a collaboration with Taylor Swift could be on the horizon during her interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show that aired on March 21.

When asked about her relationship with the “Fortnight” hitmaker, SZA gushed about their interactions. “Do you guys give advice, do you get inspired by each other? How does that work?” J. Hud asked the multihyphenate.

“Girl, that’s Taylor Swift,” SZA said as a clip of them chatting at the 2025 Grammys appeared on the screen behind her. “Every time she walks up to me or approaches me, I’m just like, ‘All right, this is happening, because that’s fully Taylor Swift.’”

The “Kill Bill” singer continued, “I think I mentioned that I would love to write with her and build some things together. I love her storytelling. She was open to it.” She also gave Taylor her flowers as she said she was “awesome” and “bossed up.”

During her conversation with Jennifer, SZA also revealed that she’s moving into the beauty space and launching her own brand, Not Beauty. The line will consist of lipsticks, creams, glosses, and liners, and will exclusively be available at pop-up activations on her Grand National Tour with Kendrick.

“People ask about my lip combo all the time. And I am a yapper, right? I’m like a certified yapper, I’m always talking, I’m always singing, and I felt like I needed something that lasted so long,” she shared. “It all came out of necessity. So I pretty much just designed my own formula.”

Between her new beauty venture and a potential collab with Tay, the future looks bright for SZA.
