Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism Tour is truly the gift that keeps giving. Since she kicked off her Australia and New Zealand leg on March 17, the singer has brought forth new outfits, stage production, and covers of songs like AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” and Natalie Imbruglia’s “Torn.” The surprises haven’t stopped there, though, as she invited Troye Sivan as a special guest during her fourth show in Melbourne on Saturday, March 22.

The pair teamed up for an unforgettable performance of Troye’s Grammy-nominated hit, “Rush,” where Dua committed to learning his iconic choreography.



They also took to the front row and assigned one lucky attendee with an unexpectedly important task. According to fan footage posted across social media, Dua wanted someone to upload her and Troye’s unreleased remix of her Future Nostalgia fan favorite, “Physical” online as a treat. “Are we trusting you to leak it?” Dua asked as she passed a neon USB flash drive with the track on it to someone who had waited at the venue for 24 hours.

Of course, it was uploaded hours later. TikTok user @caitlyn_cantwell posted the full song to her account, writing, “i had the absolute pleasure to listen to this for the first time. i got the usb from dua and troy at duas show tonight 22/03 and i was given the task to leak this song. it is so so good. please enjoy!”

Ahead of Troye’s special appearance at the Radical Optimism Tour, Dua celebrated the occasion by posting a cheeky TikTok with Troye, whom she first hit the road with on his Suburbia Tour in 2016.

In the clip, she lip-synced to a sound that said, “Every girl needs her twink. Come on, twink!” as the “Got Me Started” singer jumped on her back for a piggyback ride.

She also took to Instagram to thank Troye for his support over the years. “ Night 4 in Melbourne!!!!! Unreal night!!! Saturday night energy had us so good ❤️ thank you to my bb @troyesivan for joining me on stage last night TOO MUCH FUN!!! 🔋🔋🔋🔋” she wrote in her caption.
