It’s Gracie Abrams’s world, and we’re just living in it. The singer-songwriter is having a massive year so far as she scored her second iHeart Radio Music Award ahead of her U.S. leg of The Secret of Us (Deluxe) Tour with Role Model.
After hitting the Dolby Theater’s stage for a stunning performance of her TikTok-viral hit “That’s So True,” Gracie took home the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, March 17. Album of the Year winner Billie Eilish shared a sweet story about Gracie before presenting her with her trophy.
“I’ve known Gracie Abrams since I was 15 years old,” Billie said. “When we started sending each other little voice memos of songs we were writing at the time, she was always so encouraging to me when I started putting music out. I love that girl so much. I have loved watching her finally take over the world the past year.”
Gracie started by giving Billie her flowers and expressing that it’s “a privilege to grow up” with her music. She went on to thank her friends, family, team, band, and record label, as well as radio DJs, before giving former tour mates Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo a shout-out along with other collaborators.
“For the incredible artists who allowed me to share their stages at different times and in different ways—Taylor and Olivia and Noah Kahan and The National and for each of the openers who have supported me on my tours, I’m in awe of all of you,” she said, referring to her stints on the SOUR Tour and Eras Tour, respectively. “For Aaron Dessner, always, and last but not least, I would not be here if it were not for the support, loyalty, creativity, and true goodness of the fans. So just thank you so much. You guys are my whole damn heart.”
While Taylor and Olivia weren’t in attendance, fans of the three powerhouse pop singers reacted to Gracie’s sweet shoutout on social media. One fan simply wrote, “Taylivia mention in 2025. Thank you, Gracie,” alongside pics of the “Risk” hitmaker hugging her pals onstage.
