Netflix's A House of Dynamite is already surrounded by Oscar buzz—thanks to its cast and director (more on those in a moment)—and it hasn't even been released yet.
The dramatic thriller, which is set for a debut on Netflix later this year, stars the likes of Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson. The much-anticipated movie has been directed by Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker, Detroit) and written by Noah Oppenheim (White House, Zero Day), which pretty much guarantees we'll all be on the edge of our seats when it finally airs.

According to Netflix, A House of Dynamite will have its world premiere at the 82nd Venice Film Festival on Sept. 2.
It will then be available at selected cinemas in the UK from Oct. 3 (followed by a global cinematic release on Oct. 10). After this, streamers will be able to enjoy the movie on Netflix from Oct. 24.

Set against the backdrop of an impending missile strike on America, this intense drama follows White House staffers in real-time as tensions rise and every second counts.
