Remember last year when the Cannes Film Festival introduced an updated dress code that banned nudity and everyone lost their minds? Well, as it turns out, celebs haven’t let that stop them from pushing their red carpet looks to the limits. To be fair, a rep for the Cannes press office did later clarify that the charter’s new guidelines were not meant to “regulate” red carpet outfits but “to prohibit full nudity on the carpet,” so…it seems to me that sheer gowns are still very much fair game.

From daring cutouts to lacy looks that leave little to the imagination, it’s time to scroll through the nakedest dresses from the 2026 Cannes Film Festival so far (and be sure to check back, because the festival runs through Saturday, May 23, and there are certain to be many more naked gowns to come!!).
