Barry Keoghan just made a rare appearance on Benny Blanco, Lil Dicky, and Kristin Batalucco’s Friends Keep Secrets podcast, and he’s getting candid about his split from Sabrina Carpenter.

Though the pair reportedly broke up after nearly a year of dating in December 2024, the Saltburn star is now addressing allegations that he cheated on Sabrina when they were together.

Barry explained his decision to completely step away from public events and stay offline after deactivating his social media accounts in the aftermath of his breakup with the “Manchild” singer.

“There was a narrative out there that was never really sort of even spoken on—a narrative that’s not true—and I never confirmed or said anything about it. And I just disappeared,” he shared.

When Lil Dicky asked whether the cheating rumors were true, Barry confirmed that’s what he was being accused of, saying, “Yeah, that I cheated.”

He didn’t shy away from clearing the air, either. He admitted that he didn’t want to publicly address any rumors at the time because he didn’t want to “pile onto the situation.”

Though he’s remained under the radar, the Eternals actor admitted that he looks online every now and again. “Honestly, I do go on and have a look, ’cause you know, I’m curious,” he shared, to which Benny chimed in, “Don’t do it.”

“There is a lot of hatred towards me for just looking like this,” Barry added, to which Benny responded that he’s constantly sent memes aimed at his appearance compared to his wife, Selena Gomez.

“A few of my friends, making fun of me, they’ve sent [memes] where it’s me, you, Travis Kelce, and then the guy who Ariana dates, and it’s like, which one of these ugly bastards would you wanna date?” Benny joked, referring to Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande’s relationships.
