If you watched Heated Rivalry and thought to yourself, There’s no way Shane and Ilya won’t be invited to the 2026 Met Gala, you were correct, as usual! Hudson Williams made his way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for “Costume Art” wearing a Frette Unito Shawl Collar Bathrobe bathrobe, which he paired with an incredible makeup look.
Here’s a closer look at that glam!
Once he got on the carpet, Hudson lost the bathrobe and debuted his official look: a beautifully embroidered blue jacket with an open shirt and matching pants.
Hudson has been killing it on red carpets pretty much since the moment Heated Rivalry took the world by storm and chatted to Harper’s Bazaar about the conversations he has with his stylists.
“Usually, it’s reference-based,” he says. “I have a wide palette of different celebrities I like. We say, like, ‘Maybe here I could do a Tyler, The Creator thing. Maybe we could work toward that. Maybe here we do like a Jacob Elordi thing or John F. Kennedy Jr. or Princess Diana.’ We got, like, Zoë Kravitz. There’s just a lot of pulls that I like.”
He also noted, “I love accessories. I sometimes just like garish looks, you know, with just a little frippery and fun. It’s just another way to express yourself, and it doesn’t have to be too serious. There’s this one Brad Pitt photo shoot, I think for Fight Club, where he has these slutty little gloves and he’s in a pink dress. And I always thought that was the coolest photo shoot I’d ever seen. I just like fun.”
In other words, the Met Gala is the perfect event for him. Bring back dressing for fun!
