With all this chatter about America’s Next Top Model these days, you’d think it’s 2006. But, it’s our good year 2026, and the infamous early-aughts reality show is the topic of two new docuseries: Netflix’s Tyra Banks-produced Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model, and E!’s Dirty Rotten Scandals, featuring former ANTM panelist Janice Dickinson.
As Reality Check hits the streaming platform on Monday, January 16, Entertainment Weekly reveals Tyra may have another ANTM cycle up her sleeve after the three-part docuseries drops.
“After the show, I had so many different ideas for my life. I’m obsessed with pivoting. And I live in Australia now,” she says in the doc, per the outlet. In the third episode of the upcoming series, she even teases a revival of the reality show, adding, “I feel like my work is not done. You have no idea what we have planned for cycle 25.”
This isn’t the first time Tyra has toyed with bringing ANTM back to our TV screens. When she promoted Life Size 2 in 2018, the model told Entertainment Weekly that she considered bringing it back for one final cycle, which would potentially be the second all-star cycle with fan-favorites from previous seasons.
If it returns, this would mark ANTM’s first episode since cycle 24 aired on VH1 in 2018. Throughout its nearly two-decade run, the show followed up-and-coming models as they competed for a chance to win a modeling contract, a photo spread in Seventeen magazine, endorsements with brands like Guess and CoverGirl, and an $100,000 cash prize.
