If you've been on the internet at all in the last few days, you'll have no doubt seen the Beckham family drama that is unfolding before our very eyes. After months of speculation about a family feud, Brooklyn Beckham took to his Instagram Story on January 19 to tell his "truth.
As for what that entailed? The eldest Beckham child dropped several bombshell claims about his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, including that they leak stories to the press and even "hijacked" his wedding to Nicola Peltz. And, it was during the wedding segment of his statement that Brooklyn made claims about a famous singer, prompting many fans to wonder: Who is Marc Anthony, and what does he have to do with the Beckham feud?

What did Brooklyn Beckham say about Marc Anthony?
"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," Brooklyn claimed in his statement, after alleging that Victoria had pulled out of designing Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute and took issue with the seating arrangements.
"In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead, my mum was waiting to dance with me instead," he went on. "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone."
Brooklyn continued, "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
Who is Marc Anthony?
Marc is an award-winning musician and one of the bestselling salsa artists of all time. Despite his success in salsa, Marc transitioned into freestyle and house music, collaborating with artists including Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez, who he went on to marry (more on that romance in a moment).
As well as a music career, Marc has also starred in several films. These include Man on Fire, In The Heights, and El Cantante, to name a few.

Marc has had numerous high-profile romances, including Jennifer Lopez and not one, but two beauty queens. Marc has two children with his first partner, Debbie Rosado, and another two with Miss Universe winner Dayanara Torres, to whom he was married from 2000 to 2004.
In 2004, Marc married J.Lo, and they were married for 10 years. During that time, they welcomed twins before divorcing in 2014. Shortly after his divorce from Jennifer, Marc married model Shannon De Lima in 2014, but they divorced just three years later. Since 2023, Marc has been married to model Nadia Ferreira.

As we know, the Beckham family have a lot of famous friends, including members of the Royal Family. Yep, David and Victoria attended the weddings of both Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It should come as no surprise, then, that lots of celebrities were at Brooklyn's wedding to Nicola, one of them being Marc.
Marc has long been a friend of the Beckhams ever since David and Victoria shared their love of his music. He is the godfather to both Cruz and Harper Beckham, while David is godfather to Marc's son Marquitos. They are often seen supporting each other at events, with David surprising Marc in 2023 when he received his Hollywood Walk of Fame award.
Speaking about Marc's connection to the Beckhams, a source told People last year (many months before Brooklyn's statement came out) that Marc is a "friend" of the family and "offered to perform as a gift at the wedding."
The insider went on to say that during the wedding, Marc asked Brooklyn on stage as well as "the most beautiful woman in the room tonight"—referring to Victoria, rather than the bride, Nicola.
"It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock," a second source added. "You could hear a pin drop."
