IDK about you but have you noticed a certain *ahem* trend amongst your favorite celebs??? They're all posting their major milestones to Instagram over the past two weeks and have been making me (and probably you too, let's be real) incredibly jealous—and Dove Cameron's latest post is no exception.

The Vengeance actress took to Instagram on January 3 and shared that she and her rockstar boyfriend, Damiano David of Måneskin, have taken the next step in their relationship by getting engaged.

“My favourite part of being alive 💍 happy new year,” she captioned a trio of images of her and Damiano sharing a sweet embrace. Also featured: A stunning sparkler of a ring on her left ring finger.

If this engagement news giving you a bit of déjà vu, I don't exactly blame you. Dove and Damiano sparked engagement rumors back in October of last year, after she was spotted by TMZ with what appeared to be an engagement ring on her finger while the pair was out in Sydney, Australia...meaning that Dove's Instagram post acts more as a confirmation rather than a true announcement.

IMHO, engagement definitely felt like it was on the horizon for these two—Dove shared the cutest post to Instagram in October to commemorate her and Damiano dating for two years, and NGL, it made me feel super emotional.

“The best two years of my life,” Dove captioned the adorable post. “I am brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it. i love you in a way no words could ever express, but i will never stop trying. buon anniversario amore mio.”

In fact, it was so cute that we at Cosmo couldn't resist popping into the comments section to write “ME AND WHO 😭♥️” just to put that kind love out into the universe for ourselves. Because it's hard out here, y'know??
