It's tiiiiime. Specifically, time for the Kardashians to host their annual blow-out Christmas party. The event is always packed with celebrities and typically takes place at Kris Jenner's house—though in recent years her daughters have been taking it on. And apparently a loooooot of planning is involved. Like, we're talking multiple meetings throughout the year and a huge expense.
Khloé Kardashian just spilled on exactly what goes into this party—and who pays for it. Speaking on her podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, she said “So for people who don’t know, every year we do a traditional Christmas Eve party that we’ve done since before I’ve been born, my mom has been hosting them, since the ‘70s. And my mom has always hosted them, and then once her kids got older, she sort of handed the baton off when you felt comfortable that we would represent you properly, and we’ve all done a good job. It used to rotate siblings’ homes on who was going to host it."
Khloé also talked about the family planning meetings, saying "Not everyone shows up, and that’s fine, but if you don’t show up, you don’t get a say so. Then you can’t come to the third meeting and be like, I don’t like that. No, we had two meetings before and we already decided on X, Y, and Z."
So, whomst foots the bill? According to Khloé, no matter who hosts the party, they "all equally split the cost."
Kris also called the event a "really big undertaking" saying "they’ve grown into this enormous proportion and everybody looks forward to it every year. Our friends who’ve never celebrated Christmas love to come. And it’s so much fun and we always dance at the end of the party, we always have a DJ, usually a performance, which is so exciting."
As for who is hosting this year, it sounds like maybe Kendall? We'll see!
