- The royal family are reportedly still upset that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party.
- Sources say the royals don't know if "trust can be rebuilt."
- Chances of the royals inviting the Sussexes to Christmas are "slim" because of the drama.
The royal family is gearing up for the holiday season, and it looks like the chances of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry getting an invite are "slim" (though, with Christmas just a few weeks away, seems likely the Sussexes have their own plans!).
A source tells Us Weekly there are concerns about "whether or not trust can be rebuilt" after Harry and Meghan attended Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party at Jeff Bezos' mansion, adding, "If they are going to go out and look like Hollywood players, it’s at odds with what the palace and royal family members would do."
Meanwhile, an insider says that Kate Middleton and King Charles' health struggles have changed the mood a bit, and that "the celebration may carry a wistful tone, however, it will also be a time of celebration, especially after Kate received the all-clear. They all want to make the most of their time together."
Kate and William are said to be looking forward to "creating memories in what they consider their forever home," Forest Lodge. "They love Christmas. They want to create a traditional Christmas without airs and graces, unlike what Charles might have had as a child."
