• Taylor Swift revealed exactly what Travis Kelce told her before proposing.
  • The Grammy winner said it was the first time she'd seen her fiancé (!!!) nervous in their entire relationship.
  • Reminder: Travis proposed after he and Taylor recorded his podcast, New Heights.

Taylor Swift has been busy promoting The Life of a Showgirl, and stopped by The Tonight Show to a) talk about the album, b) show off her massive ring, and c) chat about Travis Kelce's proposal with Jimmy Fallon.

After admitting that she looks at the ring "constantly," Tay said of Trav, "He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met—no offense to everyone else. But the fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever…that’s the whole thing of it. You look at [the ring] and you’re like, 'I get to hang out with him forever,' and this represents that."

She then gave some details about his proposal, saying that recording New Heights "was just sort a distraction, sort of ruse, to keep me not looking out the windows of the house. Every time he does the podcast, it’s not like he blacks out all the windows [but there were] fully, like, blackout drapes on every single window of the whole house."

Apparently, Travis was suuuuuper nervous ahead of the podcast, and told Taylor re: New Heights: "My heart is racing... I know how much this means to you. I just really want this to be what you’d hoped it would be." Taylor added, "I’ve never seen this dude nervous. Ever. He’s professionally not a nervous person."

And when the moment came to pop the question, Travis asked Taylor, "Do you wanna go and just walk around the backyard and have a glass of wine?" In response, she said, "I’m always gonna wanna do that," and then realized "why all the windows were curtained and why he was nervous. It was the best possible-case scenario."

Could cry.
