• Taylor Swift dropped the video for "The Fate of Ophelia" and it's full of Easter eggs.
  • The video has numerous set pieces and costume changes, and sooooo many references.
  • "The Fate of Ophelia" is the lead song on Taylor's 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

She's done it again! Taylor Swift dropped what many are saying (me, to myself, repeatedly) is her best video of all time for "The Fate of Ophelia," and it's—true to form—full of Easter eggs. (Over 100 Easter eggs, as Taylor told Zane Lowe during an October 7 interview.) Honestly going to have to watch this several dozen more times to pick up everything due to the many set pieces and outfit changes, but fans have been working overtime to roundup the Easter eggs that are lurking in this video, and we're putting them all in one place.

Reminder that Taylor chatted about how her Easter eggs work on New Heights, telling Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, "I have parameters. There’s dos and donts. I don’t do an Easter egg that ties to my personal life. It points to my music…it’s something you don’t know why I’m saying for a specific reason, but then you’ll look back and go 'oh my god.'"

She added, "My favorite one of those was when I was giving an honorary doctorate from NYU and I made the commencement speech. And I put so many lyrical Easter eggs in that speech that when the Midnights album came out after that, the fans were like 'The whole speech was an Easter egg.' And that for me is really fun because they find it fun. I love numerology, I love math stuff, I love dates, that stuff I find really fun."
