Calvin Harris addressed speculation that he's feuding Miley Cyrus after seemingly shading the singer (and being various levels of salty) while responding to fans on TikTok.
This drama started after Calvin shared a clip of a new version of the song "Ocean," this time with vocals by Jessie Reyez.
Fans recognized the song as an updated version of one originally featuring Miley Cyrus, and were quick to ask questions like "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ONE WITH MILEY?????" To which Calvin responded "I dunno."
He also wrote "tell her" to a fan who said "I love Miley’s version more" and "not possible" to someone who said "Please release it with Miley’s vocals 😢."
On top of THAT, Calvin dropped a laughing-cry emoji in response to someone who said "I want the Miley vocals 😭😭😭" and a thumbs-up emoji to a person who wrote "if miley not on it we dont wan it 😭🙏🏼."
And in response to someone who said "it been released with Miley it would probably peaked in top 30 billboard hot 100, now it dont touch top 100," he replied "Why do u care it’s my song lol." AND he added "it is" when someone said "I like this better than the Miley version," plus it "wasn’t meant to be" in response to a fan who said "Miley should’ve said yes we are personally tired of her being lazy and scrapping everything."
So yeah, you can see why everyone thought these musings were very pointed! However, the DJ has since hopped into the comments to respond to someone who asked "This was miley’s team fault? because the og vibe was amazing" with "Nah it was my bad…crossed wires." He also added, "I love Miley."
