When it comes to Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry (aka 2025's most unexpected couple), sources simply cannot agree on what the vibe is.
These two were spotted on what definitely looked to be a dinner date a few days ago, and Justin then showed up at Katy's concert where he spent the entire time dad dancing all by his lonesome.
So, what's going on? Last week, sources made it clear that the pair were definitely on date. However this week, an insider tells The Daily Mail that while Katy thought it was a date, Justin considered it "no more than dinner" and "feels a bit ambushed by all this." Oh, and apparently "He wanted tickets to her show and she invited him. While that was going on, she invited him for dinner."
This is pretty much the exact opposite of what a source recently told The Sun. Their insider said that "they click very well so far," "are going to see each other again very soon," that he took her on a date, and he was very, very excited to do so," AND that "he feels like a young adult again" and is "very excited about the process so far."
On top of that, they said "Justin wants to keep getting to know her and see how it goes" and that when it comes to Katy's spotlight, "he is not scared of her being a superstar, and the extra attention that brings." Oh, and also their source noted that "Justin isn’t a guy who is easy to 'catch' and he has been having a lot of women trying to date him since he separated from his wife."
