Aimee Lou Wood finally put to bed all the endless rumors about her and Walton Goggins being in a feud, and now the internet gets to obsess over something else: the new relationship between her and Adam Long, with whom she *just* made her red carpet debut at the Golden Globes.

While Aimee is pretty private about her personal life (she dated her Sex Education costar Connor Swindells for years and was completely low-key about it), she and Adam first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted kissing in London (according to pics obtained by The Daily Mail). A few months later, he joined her in the audience at the Emmys, and now they're red carpet official!

And I mean, sure, these two could still be casual. Or this could be step #1 of them going on to have a serious relationship. Either way, clearly the time has come to get to know Adam—unless you're a Happy Valley fan like me, in which case you are more than acquainted, ahem.

They Were Co-Stars

Aimee and Adam starred in the BBC's Film Club together, where they played a couple. Per BBC's synopsis:

"It’s Friday night. 7pm. Film Club Week 198. Evie hasn’t left the house in six months after a 'wobble,' and tonight, things are different. Noa’s got big news. A dream job is taking him across the other side of the country, which means that all of this is ending. That reality is hitting. That they’re going to be forced to consider for the first time they might be more than just friends. Neither of them are the best when it comes to emotions but this time those emotions might be impossible to ignore...As if life weren’t challenging enough already, Evie is going to be navigating this amongst the eccentricity of her family home - living with her fiercely loving single mum Suz (Suranne Jones), sister Izzie (Liv Hill), and handsome boyfriend/sometime man of the house Josh (Adam)."

He’s an Actor (Obviously)

Adam is probably best known as playing convict Lewis Whippey in the acclaimed British detective series, Happy Valley.

The 34-year-old has also starred in Spike Island, Bancroft, Dunkirk, The Thirteenth Tale, Vera (another British mystery show), The Kill Team, Masters of the Air, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, and Day of the Jackal.

He’s a Runner

Kay, mostly just sharing this as an excuse to note that Aimee commented an enthusiastic "YOU DID IT!" on this photo:

He Doesn’t Have Much of an Online Presence

Yes, Adam has Instagram, but it's mostly low-key and doesn't give much away about his personal life:

Meanwhile, his interviews are few and far between. But if you want to get a sense of his personality / vibe / cute accent, there's this old interview from Tribeca Film Festival circa 2019.

So, What’s He Have Coming Up Next?

According to IMDb, Adam is starring in a movie called The Trial about three brothers who "face a ruthless gangland trial after their heist goes disastrously wrong."

Looking forward to seeing him in it! But mostly to analyzing his vibes with Aimee Lou Wood in future red carpet appearances.
