Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly been going through a rough patch in their relationship. A source tells People that the couple experienced some tension due to Katy's stress over the reception of her new album, 143.

"Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album," the insider explained. "It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension."

Another source added that "She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship."

Neither source dished on if the tension has improved, but Katy and Orlando have been together forever—and gone through rough patches before! In fact, they briefly broke up in 2017, a split that Katy opened up about last year.

"I mean, he was in a way, because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions," she said. "I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was just like, ‘I can't do this anymore. I need to go swim in a different pond,’ but I had yet to do a lot of real work."

Ultimately, Katy and Orly both worked on themselves and got back together thanks to the singer initiating a reunion. "We all have our strengths and then our opportunities for growth," she said. "But one of his strengths [is] when I crumble, he can step in and be that anchor. That's amazing, because I'm usually just alpha, alpha, you know? I'm like testosterone, testosterone. 'I got this. I don't need any help,' but actually I do need help. I do need a partner."
