Pete and Elsie had been going strong for over a year and even welcomed a daughter together…but according to multiple sources, the two have since called it quits.

March 2025
Page Six drops the news that Pete is dating someone new, that “he’s very happy,” that his new flame is a “non-celebrity” (debatable, but okay!), that she’s “very different from anybody else he’s ever dated before,” and that she “respects Pete and his desire for privacy.” N-O-T-E-D.
Days later, the Daily Mail publishes photos of Pete and Elsie frolicking in the water, splashing around, touching tongues, etc. You know the routine.
Oh, and People then confirms they are dating, in case the pics didn’t make it obvious.
By the end of the month, Elsie and Pete go Instagram official on her Stories, by which I mean she posts him in a bathrobe.
April 2025
Pete brings Elsie as his plus-one to the Scotland wedding of Dave Navarro and Vanessa DuBasso and posts pic from the trip with some cute horses who got the tea but rudely haven’t spilled.
A week later, the couple is spotted on their way to a Knicks game, much like every other celebrity in NYC:

Elsie and Pete move in together! A source tells People that they “have been living together in New York for the past few months. They’re splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn. They’re so happy together and doing great.”
Another source tells E! News the two are “very happy together and excited about this next step.”
They also go red carpet official and the vibes are immaculate:

Elsie drops an Instagram dump from what she calls a “weird chaotic month,” and many of those pics include Pete (pls see for yourself):
Then: Big news!! Elsie announces on Instagram that she and Pete are expecting their first child together. Her cheeky caption: “welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
In two separate interviews, Pete gets candid about his longtime dream of becoming a dad.
“Well, I honestly couldn’t be more excited. As you know, it’s been my dream forever since I was a little kid,” he tells Entertainment Tonight before gushing all about Elsie. “The baby’s mother is one of my favorite people to ever exist ever. She’s going to be a great mom and I’m just stoked. I hope to be a, you know, the dad I hoped that I would have.”
The SNL alum also pays a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that same day, where he doubles down on his sentiment. “Yeah, I did it! I did it! If anybody knows me, it’s my dream to be a dad. So, I’m so excited. Elsie’s excited. Everything else doesn’t really matter anymore.”

Elsie calls Pete her “best friend in the whole wide world” in a birthday tribute, which is honestly v sweet.
December 2025
And baby makes three! Elsie takes to Instagram to announce the arrival of Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson a week after her birth, writing, “our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025.”
May 2026
DeuxMoi receives a blind item suggesting that Pete and Elsie have split, with a tipster saying the “relationship fizzled out just as quickly as it started.”
Soon after, a source tells People that Pete and Elsie have “issues, but they’re trying to figure things out together,” adding, “They’re adjusting to parenthood and working through the process.”
DeuxMoi then follows up with more intel, noting that “multiple sources” have revealed that the new parents have “quietly gone their separate ways.”
Per DeuxMoi: “The pressure of a new relationship, combined with the realities of being new parents, have allegedly taken a toll,” and “the pair are currently living in separate residences.”
A few weeks later, The Sun reports that Pete and Elsie have officially split. “Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,” an insider claims. “It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.”
Meanwhile, another source says the split was recent, adding, “They are just focusing 100 percent on Scottie.”
Not long after, a source for People weighs in, confirming the split but noting that reconciliation is a possibility. “There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together,” the source explains, adding, “Pete and Elsie are working on things. They want one another to succeed and be happy.”
