Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet stepped out for a public date at the BNP Paribas Open in California over the weekend, and the footage is truly something. First, Kylie and Timothée kissed while a friend took a picture, then Kylie spent some time rubbing Timmy’s stomach, and then he got up to yell about something happening in the tennis match.

While the vibes seem cute! to! me! apparently some people think the energy is awkward between Kylie and Timmy, which brings us to “forensic lip-reader” Jeremy Freeman.
According to Jeremy, who gave his interpretation of Kylie and Timothée’s conversation to the Daily Mail, this kissing moment was narrated by Lil Timmy Tim saying, “Wait a minute, love” when Kylie requested a pic, and then adding, “Go on, yum, yep” when she joked “eye contact!”
Meanwhile, Timothée seemingly hurt himself while sitting back in his chair, which prompted Kylie to respond, “Are you okay?” to which he responded, “No problem, I’m good, don’t worry about it.” He then encouraged her to pay attention to the match with “Watch the point, watch the point.”
As for Timmy’s musings while standing up mid-game, he said, “No, no, how can you miss that! That was a bad miss, that was a bad miss.”
