Today in rich people, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce just added $100 million (or I guess $50 million each?) to their bank accounts. The brothers signed a new deal with Amazonâs Wondery for their podcast New Heights, which has gained legions of new listeners (itâs me, hi) over the past year due to the off chance that Travis might talk about Taylor Swiftâwhich honestly, he sometimes does! Let me live!!!
Variety reports the Kelce brothersâ new deal âruns for three yearsâ and âis worth more than $100 million,â so congrats to them!
Travis and Jason also gave this statement about the news: âWe couldnât be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights. We love this show, and the fan base that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to âNew Heightsâ! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start season 3âsee you soon, 92%ers!â
Of course, New Heights is merely one of the ways Jason and Travis make money. Jason (who is fresh off retiring from the NFL) recently inked a deal thatâll reportedly earn him $1.8 million a year to be an analyst on Monday Night Football With ESPN (+ a $1 million signing bonus), while Travis just signed a 2-year extension with the Kansas City Chiefs worth a reported $34.25 million, meaning he is the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.
Congrats on all the money and stuff, Kelces.
