Looks like Travis Kelce has some company in the VIP tent at the Sydney Eras Tour show, because Katy Perry showed up with Rita Ora to watch Taylor Swift perform on night one. The musicians were spotted by fans, who wasted no time spiraling over what the vibe would be when Taylor hopped on stage to perform "Bad Blood," which, as we all know, is strongly believed to be about her now-squashed feud with Katy.
And, turns out, the vibe was Katy dancing and having a good time!
Quick background: Taylor and Katy's beef allegedly started because Katy hired some of Taylor's backup dancers out from under her. Tay then dropped "Bad Blood" and cryptically told Rolling Stone (without naming names), "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’...[Then] she did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational—you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it."
Cut to now, and everyone on Twitter is just all:
For what it's worth, Taylor and Katy put the drama aside years ago—and Katy even appeared in the video for "You Need to Calm Down" as a hamburger to Taylor's french fries:
