Tom Sandoval felt the need to go on Howie Mandel’s podcast this week and give what might be the messiest interview of all time about his recent cheating scandal. And if the appearance caught you by surprise, Bravo is right there with you. According to The Sun (via Page Six), Tom went behind the network’s back and his appearance “blindsided” producers.
“They had no clue he was doing this, of course not. They never would have allowed it,” a source said. “They’re putting so much time and energy into making sure the rest of the season is better than any other season and hyping up the reunion. So him pulling this bitch move is basically producers’ worst-case scenario.”
Apparently, Bravo found out about the podcast appearance when Howie announced it earlier this week, and “they’ve been freaking out and basically scrambling since” because producers had “no idea what he is going to reveal so they’re watching it in shock along with the fans.”
No word on how Bravo will respond, but the source says that “no one on the cast would be shocked or upset if he was fired” and that “him doing this is a big ‘fuck you’ to all of them.”
