Rihanna is performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, and literally every celebrity ever showed up to watch her hit the stage for the first time in forever. As Adele poetically put it, āIām going just for Rihanna. I donāt give a flying fuck.ā
And speaking of Adele, obviously she was in attendance:
Along with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy:
Gordon Ramsay (lol, k):
Billie Eilish:
H.E.R.:
LeBron James:
Bradley Cooper:
Paul Rudd:
Cara Delevingne:
And Nicki Minaj:
And thatās just whoās there so far (weāll be updating this with more celeb sightings).
Reminder that Rihanna is expected to perform the biggest hits from her catalog, although putting together a set list was tough. āThat was the hardest, hardest partādeciding how to maximize 13 minutes but also celebrate,ā she said during a preāSuper Bowl press conference. āThatās what this show is gonna beāitās gonna be a celebration of my catalog in the best way that we couldāve put it together. Youāre trying to cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes, so itās difficult. Some songs we have to lose because of that and thatās gonna be okay, but I think we did a pretty good job of narrowing it down.ā
Rihanna also said she was inspired by her son: āWhen you become a mom, thereās something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world and do anything. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. As scary as that was, because I havenāt been onstage in seven years, thereās something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. Itās important for me to do this this year. Itās important for representation, itās important for my son to see that.ā
